5TH ARHEOINVEST SYMPOSIUM — 20-24 AUGUST 2013
The Fifth Edition of the Arheoinvest Symposium Series, entitled ‘Stories Written in Stone’ — International Symposium on Chert and other Knappable Materials, will take place between the 20th and the 24th of August 2013. The event is organised together with the “Babeș-Bolyai” University of Cluj-Napoca.

The event is organised as part of the Current trends in archaeological heritage preservation: national and international perspectives (CNCS–UEFISCDI, PN-II-ID-PCE-2011-3-0610) research project.

The “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași organises, between the 20th and the 21st of April 2012, the second Arheoinvest Symposium dedicated to the ethno-archaeology of salt in Romania after 20 years since the commencement of the research. The event is organised as part of the project Idei 2011/219 – The etno-archaeology of the salt water springs and salt mountains from the extra-Carpathian areas of Romania.

Universitatea “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iaşi, prin Platforma de formare şi cercetare interdisciplinară în domeniul arheologiei – ARHEOINVEST, organizează primul Simpozion Arheoinvest, care va oferi posibilitatea participării, cu comunicări şi postere, a numeroşi arheologi şi specialişti din diverse domenii de cercetare cu aplicabilitate în arheologie, având ca temă extragerea, producerea şi prelucrarea cuprului în preistorie.
